Subscribers List

What is this for?

This page gives you a complete overview of every subscriber who has ever interacted with your events. You can see who they are, how many events they have attended, their current status, and when they first and last subscribed. From here you can send targeted emails, remove subscribers who are no longer relevant, or add new subscribers manually.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Open the Subscribers List

  1. In the main navigation menu, click Subscribers.
  2. The Subscribers List screen opens, showing a table with all your subscribers.

2. Understand the Table Columns

The table displays the following information for each subscriber:

Column What It Shows
Select Checkbox to pick one or more subscribers for bulk actions.
Subscriber Identity The email address (or identifier) of the subscriber.
Events Count Total number of events this subscriber has registered for.
Status Current state: Active (still subscribed) or Unsubscribe (opted out).
First Event Date Date when the subscriber first registered for any of your events.
Last Event Date Date of the most recent event registration.
Actions Menu with actions for that specific subscriber (e.g., Remove).

3. Filter the List

Above the table you have two filter controls:

  • Search by Subscriber Identity — Type an email address or part of it to instantly narrow down the list.
  • Filter by Event — Click the dropdown and select one or more events. Only subscribers who registered for the chosen event(s) will remain visible.

You can combine both filters at the same time.

4. Sort the Table

Click any column header that has sort arrows (Events Count, First Event Date, Last Event Date) to toggle between ascending and descending order.

5. Select Subscribers for Bulk Actions

  • Select individual rows: Tick the checkbox on the left of each row.
  • Select all on current page: Tick the Select all checkbox in the header.
  • Select all across all pages: After ticking Select all, a banner appears — click Select all X subscribers to include every subscriber that matches your current filters.

6. Send an Email to Selected Subscribers

  1. Select one or more subscribers (or use Select all).
  2. Click the SELECT ACTIONS dropdown (plus icon) in the table header.
  3. Choose Submit e-mail.
  4. A popup opens — fill in the following fields:
    • Select Email Template (required) — Choose a previously created email template from the dropdown.
    • E-mail Subject (required, max 100 characters) — Subject line for the email.
    • E-mail Body (required, max 300 characters) — Write your message. You can use the built-in rich text editor.
    • Enable Event Link (optional checkbox) — If you tick this, a Select Event dropdown appears. Choose an event to insert a unique event link shortcode into the email body. The shortcode will be replaced with the actual event link for each recipient.
    • Preview Email (button) — Click to see a test rendering of the email before sending.
  5. Click SUBMIT to queue the email for delivery. A success toast confirms the action.

Note: Emails are sent asynchronously in small batches. A confirmation toast appears immediately, but actual delivery happens in the background.

7. Remove a Subscriber

  1. Locate the subscriber in the table.
  2. Click the three-dots menu (⋮) in the Actions column.
  3. Choose Remove.
  4. Confirm the deletion in the confirmation dialog.
  5. The subscriber disappears from the list and a success toast appears.

8. Add Subscribers Manually (Restricted Feature)

Important: The Add Subscribers button in the ACTIONS dropdown is only available by request. You must contact subdano.hq@gmail.com and have your account validated before this option appears. If you do not see the button, this feature is not enabled for your account.

If enabled, here is how it works:

  1. Click the ACTIONS dropdown (plus icon) in the top-right action bar.
  2. Choose ADD SUBSCRIBERS.
  3. A popup appears with a single field: Subscriber Identity — enter one or more email addresses separated by spaces.
  4. Click CREATE.
  5. Successfully added subscribers appear in the table immediately. If any email already exists, an error toast lists the duplicates.

Important Rules & Tips

Note: The Add Subscribers feature is gated behind account validation. Contact subdano.hq@gmail.com to request access. Without approval, the button remains hidden.

Note: Email subject lines are limited to 100 characters. Email body text is limited to 300 characters.

Note: When sending emails to a filtered list, only subscribers matching your current filters (search + event filter) will receive the email if you use Select all across pages.

Note: Removing a subscriber is permanent and cannot be undone from the UI. The subscriber can re-subscribe later through a public event form.

Tip: Use the Filter by Event dropdown to isolate subscribers from a specific campaign, then use Select all to email that entire segment at once.

Common Questions & Troubleshooting

Why don't I see the "Add Subscribers" button in the ACTIONS menu?
This feature is restricted. You must email subdano.hq@gmail.com and request manual subscriber addition access. Your account will be reviewed and validated before the button appears.

Why can't I click the SUBMIT button in the email popup?
Check that you have filled in all required fields marked with a red asterisk (*): Email Template, Subject, and Body. The character counters (100 for subject, 300 for body) must not be exceeded.

I selected "Select all" but only the current page seems selected.
After clicking Select all, a banner appears at the top of the table. Click Select all X subscribers in that banner to include every subscriber matching your current filters across all pages.

Why did some subscribers not receive the email?
The system validates email content for blocked/spam words before sending. If the validation fails, an error popup lists the problematic words. Remove or rephrase those words and try again.

Can I restore a removed subscriber?
Not directly from this page. The subscriber would need to register again through one of your public event forms, or you would need to use the Add Subscribers feature (if enabled for your account) to re-add them manually.

What does the "Status" column mean?

  • Active — The subscriber is currently opted in and will receive emails.
  • Unsubscribe — The subscriber has clicked an unsubscribe link and will not receive further emails.

How many subscribers can I select at once?
There is no hard limit in the UI, but emails are sent in batches of 2 with a 2-second delay between batches to protect deliverability. Very large selections may take several minutes to fully queue.
